TEMPORARY RESIDENCY AS RETIREE
TEMPORARY RESIDENCY AS RETIREE

Costa Rica is well known as a preferred destination for retirees. Any person who receives in their country of origin or abroad (outside of Costa Rica) a monthly lifelong pension of at least US$1,000 can apply for a two-years temporary residency, renewable. The pension must be granted by a qualified pension plan. Local, state, provincial and Federal government pensions from most countries will meet the requirements, such as Canadian Old Age Pension System, U.S. Social Security Administration and Railroad Retirement benefits, private company pension plans, defined benefit plans, 401K plans, school district pension, IRA/Keogh distributions, among others. Direct family members of the retiree are eligible for the same residency as dependents.
Cribo´s team will help you in reviewing and preparing the requirements, accompanying you throughout the entire process, from start to finish.
