Any investment above US$200,000.00 will allow you and your family members to obtain a two-years residency. The investment can be in real estate, in a corporation, forest plantation, or projects of national interest, etc. Different investments, as long as at the name of the same person can be combined to reach the investment threshold. In cases of investments at the name of a Costa Rican corporation, the equity owned by the applicant shall correspond to a percentage of the investment sufficient to meet the threshold.
